My computer cannot detect my smartboard

My computer cannot detect my smartboard. What can I do to resolve the issue?

• The cables may have become unseated or damaged.
  • Disconnect and examine the cables on both ends.
  • If they are undamaged, reconnect the cables.
• If the issue persists:
  • Disconnect the board’s USB cable from the computer.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Login
  • Reconnect the USB cable once you are at the desktop.
